I'm stuck on this one. I love Crede, but Fields has done a great job.

Great strip as always Carl. I don't think Joe has too much to worry, though. It's not like Fields has hit like him, played like him, can get it done in the clutch like him, is building a fanba....

Hey, how about that Scott Podsednik, huh? Wasn't THAT a great play?!?!?

I'm with Eric. Joe Crede is one of my faves, but Josh has made things a little more palitable (sp?) this year. With Scottie back, Darin coming back...........let's just say I'm glad I'm not the GM.

Does anyone else think moving Iguchi to the Phillies may have opened up second base for Fields next year?

Oh, and I dont think a barstool is the best thing for Crede's back!

In response to the above post, moving Gooch opened up 2B to Danny Richar.

Great strip... brilliant. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the team becoming a band, but this strip eased my thoughts.

Damned funny.

Perhaps you should have opted for surgery last offseason, Joe.

If Crede can't play the field - he would make a hell of a DH!
