Remember when you were a kid watching BOZO on TV and Cookie lost one of BOZO's "fair and square" contests and got screwed out of leading the grand march?

BA has that same expression (pout).

Hilarous, absolutly hilarous.

I don't think that any team needs Jacque Jones and certainly not the White Sox.

Jox has barely above average power with a below average glove. Yeah. We need him. Like the Sox need the plague. But hey, he swings a red bat.

BTW, Carl, today's just made me laugh out loud. It's nice to be able to laugh in the face of such an awful situation. Poor BA... his expression in the next to last panel is so sad, yet so funny. Thanks

I thought tonight’s game sort of solidified things w/ Erstad. You see, I am a lifetime Sox fan but I have been living in Southern CA for the past 3 yrs. I have been to a 3 Angels games since I have lived here.

At one of those games (2005) I got a Darren Erstad bobblehead. That oughta tell you what he meant to the Angels. That oughta tell you what he will mean to us. I really had a lot of faith in Brian Anderson.

Anyway, I had all the hope in the world for BA, but things haven’t worked out. Darrin Erstad rocks! Nice game tonight against the team that thought he was all washed up. Erstad is a grinder!

LOL Love the puppy-dog pout that BA gives Ozzie.

I feel sorry for Brian. Yeah, he stinks, but who can honestly expect him to be good when he spends the majority of his time sitting on the bench?

Just suck it up and go to AAA, Brian. You need the at-bats.

You make it sound like he has a choice. Does he?

Haha good luck with Anderson as your DH.

Well he's been optioned for AAA... hopefully he'll have a turnaround and be back by September.

I don't understand why some of these comments are hatin' on BA. He's a great player who shows a lot of promise -- if only Ozzie had given him some at-bats! But he's a solid outfielder... and just needs more playing time!

I dont understand why everyone takes this comic strip so seriously. It's just a way to make fun of the actual things that are being discussed by fans and media. It's not Carl making up these stories!!!!

Second, I'm still undecided on BA..but I do think he got a shot last year with 365 at bats and he's not what the sox wanted. This year, he wasn't given a chance, but that's how it works sometimes. It doesnt really matter, either way..us sox fans will always be unhappy with something. We can always improve our team somehow. Even when we won the World Series, we were still picking the team apart. We want the best!

Um, "great" um, no.

BA couldn't hit a tree trunk with a banjo... but he was poetry in motion in the field.

Despite the lack of offense, he'd still be with the team... if he hadn't cranked Ozzie off so badly.

I think it had to do with winter ball... but, with Ozzie, who knows?

After BA does his time in the minors, id love to see him tear it up and become a consistant hitting threat...

just to shut all these haters up.

Id like to see Greg Walker put in a sealed room with an Alien and a Predator...at least that would be fun to watch.

OMG, that's soo funny! Made that whole 4-game losing streak much easier to handle.

Oh, and BA in AAA, end of story. Stop whining.
