I'm right with you Ozzie!

My heart only knows the dispair of a season lost!
Alas, there is hope that the new will bring joy once again.
As the Phoenix rises from it's own ashes, so too will the Palehose.

Go Bears!

As sad as this strip is.
I can't stop laughing at Ozzie's face.
One of the biggest sub-par seasons I've evers een from a talented team.
Hope springs eternal.
Go Palehose!
Go 2008!

This was such a wonderful cartoon I copied it and posted it on my blog -- with full attribution, of course.

Thank you for these cartoons. It's been a bright spot in a dark season.

This is a great cartoon, Carl. You should be extremely proud to put laughter into the hearts of so many saddened Sox fans.

The vulture should say, "I only ate the part that was torn out and thrown to the side of the road."

This would be a more accurate discription of what happen this year.

It's funny... I'm envisioning Kenny reaching into Ozzie's chest and pulling out his still beating heart, ala, the Indiana Jones Movie. And guess what, I just saw that there is another Indi. movie coming out.

Carl,

Just letting you know it wasn't your mother that asked about Smells Like Mascot, even though I'm impatiently waiting, too.

We've still got Thome !!!

Watching number 500 majestically sail out of the park will make this year all worth the wait.
